The Heart Sutra, known as the Maka Hannya Haramita Shingyo in Japanese, is a popular sutra in Buddhism which tranlates as "The Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom". This artwork is a cultural representation of the Heart Sutra in an originally designed typeface of Japanese Kanji based on the Indian Devanagari script.
